Take Advantage of AEP This Year!
The Medicare Advantage & Prescription Drug Plan Annual Enrollment Period for Medicare runs October 15 through December 7 each year.
During this time, people who already have Medicare can make changes to their Medicare Advantage (Part C) or Part D (prescription drug) plans for the next year.
Who can use it
If you’re already enrolled in Medicare (Part A and/or Part B), you can use AEP to switch plans, add or drop Part D, or move between Original Medicare + Supplement, Medicare Advantage, etc.
During AEP you can:
- Switch from Original Medicare to Medicare Advantage.
- Switch from one Medicare Advantage plan to another.
- Join, drop, or change Part D drug plans.
- Switch back to Original Medicare if you are in Medicare Advantage.
